Equi-Jewel (Saracen)

Description

Alternative sources of energy such as rice bran are now more popular than ever. Equi-Jewel is a high fat stabilised rice bran supplement designed to increase the energy density of a ration, thereby decreasing the reliance on cereal in the diet. Its calorie-rich design is intended to help maintain and aid weight gain on “hard-keepers” and horses with elevated energy demands such as the hard working equine athlete. The fat in Equi-Jewel is highly digestible and efficiently utilised by horses of all ages. Calcium carbonate is added to Equi-Jewel to balance the calcium phosphorous ratio of rice bran.

The essential fatty acids contained in Equi-Jewel are necessary for healthy coat & skin condition. Horses receiving Equi-Jewel will quickly exhibit stunning coat gloss and bloom. This feature of Equi-Jewel is ideal for show horses, show ponies and horses being prepared for public auction as they are scrutinised for coat and body condition. As a result, Equi-Jewel is very popular among professional sales consigners and show horse producers. Daily supplementation will help aid optimised body condition.

In addition to Equi-Jewel delivering all the benefits of vegetable oils, scientific research has proven its superiority in optimising performance in the athletic horse. During strenuous exercise, horses fed Equi-Jewel had lower lactic acid levels which optimises stamina. Also when substituted for vegetable oil in rations, horses had lower heart rates and subsequent shorter recovery periods.
